Join us for a family-friendly gathering to honor this sacred longest day of the year! Featuring an outdoor ceremony, communal flower mosaic art, wood fired pizza with wild edibles, garden performances and botanical mocktails.
Friday, June 23rd from 5:00 - 9:00 pm (with a rain date of Saturday, June 24th from 5:00 - 9:00 pm) at Rooted Heart Rising Garden at Rock Point Commons, Burlington
Botanical Beverage bar (herbal mocktails with edible flowers) opens at 5 pm followed by a summer solstice ceremony with flower art and sacred sound bath in the garden at 5:30 pm.
Spoonful's Kara Buchanan will take guests on a wildcrafting walk to gather pizza toppings at 6 pm, and wood fired pizza (with nettle infused pizza dough!) will be served at 6:30 pm.
Evening performances will feature an open mic “Herbal Arts Cafe” performance line-up in the garden featuring Arantha Farrow, Lauren Larken Scuderi, Katherine Elmer and YOU (sign up earlier in the evening for an open mic spot to share jokes, a poem, a song, etc- floral themed encouraged!!).
Dinner and one botanical beverage is included in the ticket price.
Additional beverages will be available as a cash bar.

Arantha is a leader in Vermont’s music, herbal healing, arts, rocks, minerals and crystals industries. She owns a San Francisco trolley where she hosts concerts, houses a retail store that sells jewelry and instruments from Zimbabwe and holds special events.
Lauren Larken Scuderi is board member and apprentice alumni at Spoonful Herbals. She is also a talented local musical storyteller who weaves theatre, dance and social issues to create interactive healing experiences.
