February 17 from 4:00 PM-5:15 PM (online or in-person) at The University of Vermont, Burlington

“Learn about common weeds or easy to grow medicinal plants on your farm and homestead, and basic herbal preparations that can be added to a farm CSA or woven into an Herbal CSA. Presenters Katherine and Kara have offered an Herbal CSA program for the past 9 years in the Burlington community and will share their business model, recipes, and 2-3 samples of delicious, simple, and useful herbal remedies emphasizing weeds and invasive plants. Primarily a lecture format, there will be time for participants to brainstorm potential applications for their farm/homestead in small groups and taste the samples.”
